Sensing Culture: Group for Blind & Partially Sighted Adults

A free monthly group where blind and partially sighted adults explore The Amelia's collections through touch, sound and creative making.

Run in collaboration with Kent Association for the Blind, Sensing Culture offers blind and partially sighted adults a relaxed, creative way to experience The Amelia's collections. Sessions include object handling with trained staff, tactile and sensory-led tours of the galleries and temporary exhibitions, and hands-on art making inspired by the collection. No previous art experience is needed, and sessions run monthly on the last Friday of each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm in the Artist Residency Studio.
