About

A free exhibition of more than thirty vivid prints by Howard Hodgkin, spanning five decades of his printmaking.

This exhibition brings together over thirty richly coloured prints by Howard Hodgkin, made between 1966 and 2016. It explores how he used colour, shape and texture to transform memories, places and personal encounters into visual experiences, with many works hand-coloured for added depth. The prints range from city scenes to images inspired by India and works created for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, made using techniques including etching, aquatint and hand-painting. It is a Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery Touring Exhibition.
