Silent Book Club

A free drop-in silent reading session where readers bring their own books and enjoy reading together in a communal space with a hot drink.

Silent Book Club is part of a global community of readers with chapters in 70 countries. There is no assigned reading — participants bring their own book in any format and spend the session quietly reading alongside others in the Upper Atrium. A hot drink is provided, and the session is described as a friendly communal environment to read together and swap stories. It runs on the second Monday of each month and is drop-in, with no booking required.
