Floral/Festive Mosaic Wreaths With Rhona Duffy

A one-day mixed-media mosaic wreath workshop with Rhona Duffy at Studio 164 in Falkirk, suitable for beginners and intermediate makers.

Participants create a mixed-media mosaic wreath using stained glass, Italian smalti and mosaic tiles, choosing glass colours for the flower — including a festive poinsettia option. The workshop covers materials suitable for exterior mosaics, tool use for cutting mosaic and glass, and how to adhere the mosaic with thinset tile adhesive to avoid grouting. Attendees leave with a finished wreath, and the session is open to both beginners and those with previous mosaic experience.
