Little Acorn Planting Activity

A hands-on nature activity where children make eco-friendly pots and plant an acorn to grow into a mighty oak tree.

This is a free, drop-in nature activity designed for young nature lovers. Children will learn how a tiny acorn can grow into a mighty oak tree while creating an eco-friendly mini plant pot from newspaper. Participants will plant the acorn to take home and care for, supporting the charity Groundwork NE & Cumbria.
