Receiving & Sorting Donations for GROAD @ The Edward Alleyn Club

GoodGym Southwark volunteers help collect and sort public donations for GROAD, a community interest company that redistributes items to people in need.

GoodGym Southwark is running a two-hour task at the Edward Alleyn Club in Dulwich, helping Get Rid Of And Donate (GROAD), a community interest company, to receive and sort donations from the general public. Volunteers will sort and categorise clothing, toys, books and homeware in the main room before storing them in Changing Room 5. The items are later distributed to warm hubs in Lambeth and Southwark and to underfunded local schools. The session is led by GoodGym run leader Daryl Shaw and is open to adults aged 18 or over, with three places remaining.
