Young Wardens at Lackford Lakes

A monthly outdoor group for 11-16 year olds offering hands-on practical conservation work and wildlife survey skills at Lackford Lakes.

Young Wardens is a monthly group for 11-16 year olds interested in practical conservation and naturalist skills. Activities vary through the year and include learning to use tools for reserve management tasks and carrying out wildlife surveys that inform conservation work. Sessions run from 10.30am to 2.30pm and can also count towards Duke of Edinburgh awards; young people must be dropped off by an adult who confirms emergency contact details.
