Corporate Wild Work Day: Conservation Day at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve
About
A corporate conservation day at Rye Harbour, focused on willow work for grassland management.
Spend a practical conservation day supporting Sussex Wildlife Trust at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. The planned work is cutting, dragging and burning willows as part of grassland management, with learning about the habitat and wildlife. Meet at Rye Harbour Car Park (TN31 7TT). The Trust says the exact worksite is not yet confirmed and is likely to be Castle Water, a short walk from the car park. The reserve has free parking and public toilets opposite the car park. Bring old clothes, work gloves and wellington boots, drinking water and a packed lunch. Tools and safety equipment are provided, and a first aider is available. This is a group booking for 6–20 people: £700 + VAT for 6–15 or £1,000 + VAT for 16–20. Eventbrite amounts are deposits only; a 10% deposit excluding VAT plus booking fee is required, with the balance invoiced with VAT.
