Phil Cavell for The Cycling Addiction

Author and bike-fit pioneer Phil Cavell celebrates his new book The Cycling Addiction with an evening talk at Topping & Company in Bath.

Phil Cavell, bestselling author of The Midlife Cyclist, visits Bath to mark publication of The Cycling Addiction, which explores why cyclists embrace pain and pursue self-improvement. Drawing on psychology, neuroscience and philosophy alongside stories from professional road racing, he examines the obsession with performance and progression in the sport. The book features insights from figures including Philippa York, Chris Boardman, Sean Yates, Joe Pidcock and Tim Krabbé. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
