Festive Watercolour Brush Lettering Workshop

A two-hour festive watercolour brush lettering workshop making Christmas cards, crackers and gift tags with artist Helen Wallace.

Held in the studio at Leonardslee, this two-hour session teaches the essentials of watercolour brush lettering, from brush strokes to practising letters, words and Christmas quotes and phrases using aqua brushes and watercolour paint. Participants also learn to create loose Christmas florals, blend colours and make washes and ombre effects to complement their lettering, producing their own Christmas crackers, greeting cards and gift tags. The workshop is led by West Sussex hand lettering artist Helen Wallace of Wallace Lettering, with tea, coffee, mulled wine and mince pies provided, and is recommended for ages 12 and up.
