Christmas Botanicals: An Art Workshop at Hestercombe

A festive botanical art workshop with illustrator Katherine O'Shea at Hestercombe House, capturing seasonal plants through drawing and silhouette painting.

Illustrator Katherine O'Shea leads a festive botanical art class in the historic setting of Hestercombe House. Participants begin with warm-up drawing exercises learning to capture leaf and plant shapes such as holly, ivy and mistletoe, then create silhouette paintings suitable for cards or gifts. The session finishes with tea, coffee and mince pies, and all materials are included; the class is suitable for complete beginners.
