KS3 Home Educators' Day: Water Quality Assessment - Sutton Courtenay

A morning of fieldwork for KS3 home educating families focusing on water quality assessment at the Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre.

This event provides KS3 home educating families with an opportunity to participate in group fieldwork on the nature reserve. The session focuses on conducting a water quality survey to investigate the health of the local stream. Activities include measuring pH and turbidity, identifying invertebrate indicator species, and calculating a stream health index. Participants will also learn about setting up water filtration systems and the role of nature in providing safe water supplies.
