The Women of Holyrood Park

A free ranger-led guided walk through Holyrood Park exploring the women of the past who shaped the park we know today.

This moderate ranger-led walk takes in the Hunter's Bog, Volunteers' Walk and Camstane area of Holyrood Park, telling the stories of women from history who shaped the park. The route covers rough tracks, uneven and boggy terrain and steep inclines, and may not suit disabled people or children under 12. Walkers should bring warm, waterproof clothing, sturdy footwear and a snack and drink; toilets are available at the Holyrood Park Education Centre before setting out.
