Tracking the Hidden World

A free afternoon session with tracker Dan Puplett learning to identify animal tracks and signs, with an outdoor walk at Fornighty.

Fornighty Wildlife Group hosts a free two-hour session on animal tracks and signs with expert tracker Dan Puplett, author of FSC guides to British bird and mammal tracks. Participants learn to recognise creatures from footprints, scat, feeding signs and other traces, followed by an outdoor walk at a gentle pace to examine tracks on paths and rougher terrain. All ages are welcome, with under-16s needing a parent or guardian; suitable footwear and weatherproof clothing are advised.
