Cookery Workshop: Christmas Bakes

A hands-on Christmas baking workshop on a Quernmore farm, making seasonal treats including sausage rolls, star bread and chocolate roulade.

A hands-on Christmas baking session in the purpose-built barn kitchen at Lower Hollinhead Farm, led by qualified food teacher Adrienne Gristwood. Participants make flaky sausage rolls with a seasonal kick, sweet or savoury tear-and-share star bread and a chocolate roulade, plus a refreshing drink using locally foraged fruits, flowers or herbs. All ingredients are provided, and attendees take home their dishes and recipe sheets, with the option to stay for a light lunch. The four-hour session is aimed at ages 12+ with fun, informal instruction tailored to individual needs.
