In this Royal Scottish Geographical Society Inspiring People talk, Thor Pedersen recounts his journey to reach every country in the world without taking a single flight. Setting out from Denmark in 2013 on what was expected to be a four-year trip, he travelled nearly ten years and 382,000 kilometres by trains, buses, cars, boats and on foot. The talk explores cultural misunderstandings, resilience, chance encounters and human connection, drawing on stories from almost a decade on the road.
