A4 Brass

A4 Brass Quartet give a 50-minute lunchtime concert of brass arrangements and original works at The Bridgewater Hall.

A4 Brass Quartet, made up of principal players from leading UK brass bands, performs a lunchtime programme spanning Strauss, Mozart, Vaughan-Williams, Bruckner, Gregson, Grainger and Gounod. The quartet's unusual instrumentation of cornet, tenor horn, baritone horn and euphonium features repertoire they have commissioned, composed and arranged themselves. The concert lasts around 50 minutes as part of the Manchester Midday Music series.
