Wonderful Woollies: Clay Sheep & Weaving Fun

A half-term family craft session at Somerset Brick and Tile Museum making clay sheep and trying paper-plate weaving with colourful wool.

This October half-term workshop at the Somerset Brick and Tile Museum celebrates Somerset's woolly heritage — before bricks and tiles, Bridgwater's biggest export was wool. Children craft their own clay sheep to take home, then try weaving on a paper plate loom using a wide selection of colourful wool, with both creations to take away. The session lasts 1 hour 15 minutes and is suitable for ages 3 and up; booking is essential.
