Choral Evensong with Sermon in Music – Last after Trinity

A traditional Anglican Choral Evensong at St Bride's Church, with a Sermon in Music sung by the professional choir in place of a spoken sermon.

St Bride's Church holds a Choral Evensong, a traditional Anglican service lasting under one hour, performed by St Bride's Choir and organist. In place of a spoken sermon, the choir sings a Sermon in Music — an extended piece or pieces on a relevant theme. This service features music by Thomas Ebdon, Pelham Humfrey, William Byrd, Henry Purcell and J.S. Bach, and all are welcome to attend.
