About
A guided night walk with UV torches to discover biofluorescent organisms glowing in the dark at Ebernoe Common nature reserve.
A guided night walk at Ebernoe Common led by biofluorescence expert David Atthowe of Reveal Nature, supported by South Downs National Park staff. Participants use provided UV torches to reveal glowing organisms such as red-fluorescing leaves, blue spiders and orange lichen along a slow-paced two-mile route. The walk suits ages eight and over, with safety glasses provided and warm, sturdy clothing recommended; it proceeds in rain but may be cancelled in dangerously high winds.
