Advanced educational supervisory skills

A one-day RCP workshop for experienced educational supervisors covering advanced supervisory skills, feedback strategies and supporting doctors in difficulty.

This Royal College of Physicians workshop supports the professional development of postgraduate medical supervisors, updated in line with the 2024 Gold Guide and GMC standards for trainer recognition. It covers identifying and managing resident doctors requiring additional support, encouraging receptiveness to feedback, inclusive feedback for neurodiverse supervisees, and equality, diversity and inclusion considerations. Learning is reinforced through challenging scenario and role play exercises, and the course carries 6 CPD credits.
