Mastering the transition to clinical director

A one-day RCP workshop equipping doctors with the skills needed for the clinical director role, from service planning to business cases.

This intensive one-day workshop from the Royal College of Physicians is designed for doctors taking on or working in the clinical director role. Interactive sessions led by an RCP teaching faculty of experienced medical and clinical directors, NHS managers and medical educationalists cover topics including risk management, difficult conversations, job planning, presenting business cases, work-life balance and demand and capacity in emergency departments. The event runs 09:30–17:00 and carries 6 CPD credits.
