About

A one-day CPD-accredited workshop at the RCP exploring how human factors influence behaviour, teamwork and patient care in healthcare settings.

This one-day interactive workshop from the Royal College of Physicians introduces human factors and how teamwork, tasks, working environment and organisational culture shape behaviour in the healthcare workplace. Participants learn why things go wrong in healthcare, covering decision-making, systems factors, situational awareness, hierarchy, mutual performance monitoring and the value of 'teaming'. The course is CPD-accredited for 6 credits and is open to doctors of all grades and specialties as well as allied health professionals.
