Ceramic Christmas Tea Light House
About
A festive pottery workshop where adults hand-build a clay tea light house, which is fired and glazed for collection within three weeks.
This hands-on workshop, run on two separate dates, teaches participants to hand-build a pottery tea light house from white clay. Tutor Nikki McCathie guides attendees through rolling and slab building, strengthening joins, and using shaped cutters to create windows and doors for a unique finished piece. Finished houses are taken away for firing and glazing and can be collected from Attenborough Arts Centre within three weeks. No clay experience is required; participants must be aged 18+ and all materials are provided.
