Patron Spotlight - Rob Shearman with Simon Murgatoyd

Whitby Lit Fest's first Patron Spotlight features award-winning writer Robert Shearman in conversation with Simon Murgatroyd at Whitby Museum.

For the first time, Whitby Lit Fest's Honorary Patron Sir Alan Ayckbourn has chosen a writer for a Patron Spotlight event, selecting Robert Shearman, whose work spans theatre, television, radio and fiction, including writing for Doctor Who. Shearman will be interviewed on stage by Simon Murgatroyd, Sir Alan's archivist, in a conversation exploring his career, writing and creative journey. The event lasts 90 minutes.
