About

Squadron Leader Stuart Ager recounts how 208 Squadron’s Buccaneers took part in the first RAF appearance at the US Red Flag exercise.

In 1977, 208 Squadron was selected to represent the RAF at Red Flag, the large United States Air Force air-war exercise. Squadron Leader Stuart Ager led the first four-aircraft flight to land at Nellis Air Base and will describe flying Buccaneers on several squadrons and taking part in six Red Flag wargames. The lecture starts at 10:30; the published ticket price is £12.
