RC Sherriff Trust - Sherriff Talk and Silver Screen - October
About
A morning talk on poets' lives by Maggs Latter followed by a screening of the musical drama Song Sung Blue at Riverhouse Barn.
The RC Sherriff Trust's October event pairs a talk with a film screening. Maggs Latter, Trustee of The RC Sherriff Trust, presents 'Poets and Their Poetry', exploring the lives of famous poets from D H Lawrence to Philip Larkin, with poetry readings included. This replaces the previously advertised talk by Pete Allen, which will be rescheduled. Afterwards, the Silver Screen slot shows Song Sung Blue (2025), a 12-rated biographical musical drama about a husband-and-wife Neil Diamond tribute band, starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson.
