Be a Chorister for a Day 2026

A free day for children aged 6-10 to experience life as an Exeter Cathedral chorister, ending with singing in the Christingle Service.

Be a Chorister for a Day gives children aged 6-10 (school years 2-5) who love singing a taste of cathedral choral life. Led by Director of Music Timothy Noon and his team, the day includes singing practice in the Song Schools, a special guided tour of the Cathedral, a snack at breaktime, and the chance to sing alongside current choristers during the 4pm Christingle Service. Each attendee receives a named certificate recognising their participation in the cathedral's ancient choral tradition.
