About

A guided archaeology walk explores the Thames foreshore at Limehouse, examining surface artefacts that reveal the river’s history. Meet outside the Yurt Cafe in St Katharine’s Precinct, then walk to stone steps onto the foreshore. Booking is essential. Children must be at least eight and accompanied by an adult, with no more than two children per adult. Wear sturdy footwear; waterproof gloves and hand sanitiser are recommended. Artefacts remain on the foreshore: take photographs, knowledge and memories. Starts vary with tide and weather; use the published time for each session. Income supports the charity’s school programmes.
