Wheel Throwing Taster Class

An evening beginner wheel throwing pottery class at SkandiHus's De Beauvoir studio, with a glazed and fired piece to collect afterwards.

This taster class introduces the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel, beginning with a short introduction to the studio, materials and wheel throwing techniques. Participants then spend the session working at the wheel, aiming for their own 'Ghost' moment. At the end, each attendee picks a favourite piece to be glazed and fired, ready to collect within eight weeks. All clay, materials and firings are included in the price.
