Develop garment-making skills through patterns, fitting and individual sewing projects.

Participants develop garment-making skills through pattern selection, fitting, sewing techniques and pattern drafting, using their own clothing projects. Bring a sewing machine; one may be rented by prior arrangement for a fee paid directly to the tutor. Gill McBride teaches the November 2026 and February 2027 dates; Christine Finlayson teaches the December 2026 and March 2027 dates. Calico can be purchased from the tutor for £2.50 per metre.
