Lunchtime Talk: Seriously Playful

A free lunchtime talk by TiggColl architect Manuel Gonzalez Nogueira on how research and lived experience can shape family- and community-focused design.

TiggColl's Manuel Gonzalez Nogueira gives a lunchtime talk on how research, storytelling and human behaviour can inform the design of meaningful spaces. It draws on Charisse Kwong's UCL thesis It Takes a Village, which examines community and shared childcare in a post-pandemic world, alongside TiggColl's work-in-progress designs for family social clubs. The hour-long, visually led discussion explores how a narrative-led approach can help designers create socially connected places.
