About
A family engineering workshop where children build air-powered rocket cars and tall towers, funded by Gloucestershire County Council.
Bloodhound Education runs hands-on engineering activities for families with children aged 5-16, with under-5s welcome as part of a family group. The 10am session has participants building an air-powered rocket car from K'nex, testing and modifying it, then racing it to see how far it travels in a straight line. The 11.30am session challenges families to design and build a tower taller than themselves. No experience is needed and light refreshments are provided.
