New Nottingham Journal 2 Launch Party

A launch party at Waterstones Nottingham celebrating issue 2 of the New Nottingham Journal, with readings from contributors and a first chance to buy the new issue.

Waterstones hosts the launch of issue 2 of the New Nottingham Journal, the city's literary journal founded the previous year with Kickstarter and Arts Council England support. The evening includes readings from some contributors, a word from editor Andrew Tucker Leavis, a friendly mingle and the first opportunity to buy a copy of the new issue. Issue 2 features writing from Jo Shapcott, Benjamin Myers, Camilla Grudova, Dean Atta and Hamid Ismailov, plus the first English appearance of a short story by Sadegh Hedayat translated by Niloufar-Lily Soltani, alongside new work by Nottingham writers, photography and illustrations.
