An Evening with Claire Mitchell and Zoe Venditozzi

An evening with Claire Mitchell KC and Zoe Venditozzi celebrating their book How to Kill a Witch about the Scottish witch trials.

Claire Mitchell, KC, and Zoe Venditozzi appear at Waterstones Nottingham to mark the publication of How to Kill a Witch, their analysis of the sixteenth-century Scottish witch trials. The book examines the full process of the hunts, from accusation and 'pricking' to torture, confession and execution, and explores why so many women were persecuted. The pair, who run the Witches of Scotland campaign and podcast, will discuss the historic injustice and their work towards a formal memorial.
