Poulenc and Vaughan Williams | Cambridge University Orchestra

The Cambridge University Orchestra performs works by Francis Poulenc and Ralph Vaughan Williams in a concert celebrating the start of their 2026-7 season.

The concert features Francis Poulenc’s Sinfonietta, a light and colourful display of his characteristic French sound across four movements. This is followed by Ralph Vaughan Williams’ 5th Symphony, a regal piece that resonated widely since its premiere in 1943. This event marks the opening concert of the Cambridge University Orchestra's 2026-7 season.
