Echoes on the Line
About
A family programme of storytelling, making and hands-on science activities at the National Railway Museum during York Ghost Week.
Echoes on the Line is a special programme of family activities at the National Railway Museum for York Ghost Week. Daily storytelling sessions bring railway history to life through tales inspired by Victorian travel, railway folklore, unusual journeys and the people connected with the railways. Families can also get creative at the STEM Sheds with activities inspired by travel, communication and railway journeys, while Wonderlab: The Bramall Gallery gets a hands-on Halloween twist to its science exhibits. The event runs all day across the October half term, with visitors free to arrive and leave at their leisure.
