Teachers Network CPD - Finding Their Voice: supporting fluent readers

A two-part teacher-training day on using text marking, expressive reading and group reading techniques to strengthen fluency, comprehension and prosody.

The morning session introduces text marking and vocal choices for reading aloud. In the afternoon, teachers explore echo and choral reading, rehearsal, performance, evaluation and reflection, with practical approaches to supporting pupils’ fluency and communication. The session takes place in Studio Three, and lunch is provided.
