Autumnal Walk around The Mens Nature Reserve
About
A members-only gentle walk and discussion of old-growth woodland ecology at The Mens, led by Sussex Wildlife Trust president Tony Whitbread.
Join Sussex Wildlife Trust president Tony Whitbread for a gentle 1–2 mile walk with frequent stops around The Mens, an old-growth woodland with little recent human influence. The walk includes discussion of woodland ecology. Meet at The Mens car park on Crimbourne Lane; the Trust warns that the postcode does not take visitors to the exact point and provides separate directions. Parking is limited and free; there is no public transport, toilet or other facility at the site. Terrain is very uneven and likely to be muddy. This is a Sussex Wildlife Trust members' event; tickets are sold out.
