A double-bill jazz festival concert pairing Christine Tobin's new album launch Pseudologia Fantastica with Brian Eley and Ashley Wales's SONGS.

This EFG London Jazz Festival double bill opens with Christine Tobin launching her new album Pseudologia Fantastica, a mixed-media performance piece of short compositions combining spoken word, song, electronic effects, hand percussion and pre-recorded soundscapes against striking imagery. Exploring disinformation, technology and the rise of community and resistance, she performs with cellist Kate Shortt and guitarist Phil Robson. The second half features SONGS, a collaboration between vocalist/poet Brian Eley and sound artist Ashley Wales, in which Eley recites his own romantic, introspective poetry over Wales's atmospheric electronic soundscapes.
