Boast in Show

A comedy battle show where comedians compete with compliments instead of insults, judged by a panel, at Komedia Brighton's studio.

Boast in Show is a comedy format created by Carl Carzana and produced by Dawn Williams in which comedians face off with elaborate compliments, poems, songs and grand gestures rather than insults, aiming to win over a panel of expert judges. The only rule is that anything goes except hurting each other's feelings. The show won the Chortle Award for Best Live Comedy Format in the South in both 2025 and 2026. This performance takes place in the Komedia Studio with unreserved seating and is for ages 18 and over.
