Toddler Trundle Ryton Pools Country Park
About
A one-hour outdoor Forest School-style session for toddlers and pre-schoolers with mud play, crafts, den building and campfire cooking at Ryton Pools Country Park.
Toddler Trundle Friday is a hands-on outdoor session for toddlers, pre-school children and their grown-ups at Ryton Pools Country Park. Each hour-long session includes nature-inspired crafts, den building, sensory play, mini beast hunting and, on relevant days, campfire cooking, with activities guided by Forest School principles. Sessions run entirely outdoors in all weather, stopping only in high winds, thunderstorms or very deep snow, and participants should wear sturdy footwear, warm clothing and waterproofs. A supervision ratio of one adult to two children applies, and attendees meet at the Visitor Centre.
