Book Cover Wet Felting

A beginner-friendly all-day wet felting workshop at Wool&silk Art studio where participants make a handmade felted book cover.

This beginner's workshop teaches wet felting techniques to create a one-of-a-kind book cover in standard book size, suitable for a novel, journal or sketchbook. Participants learn to lay out wool, add colour, texture and decorative details, and shape the felt into a durable cover, with the option of bringing their own book for sizing. The class runs for around seven hours, refreshments are included, and attendees bring a packed lunch. It is open to complete beginners as well as those with some felting experience.
