About
A narrated musical drama bringing Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' to life through music for violin and piano.
This performance recreates Charles Dickens’ beloved ghost story as a musical drama, a genre popular in the nineteenth century. The narrative is spoken to the accompaniment of a score by Paul Wingfield, featuring music for violin and piano. The show is an abridgment of the original 1843 novella and lasts approximately seventy minutes.
