Nocturnal Creature Walk

A ranger-led night walk on The Cabrach Discovery Trail searching for nocturnal creatures with torches, followed by stovies and stargazing at the Acorn Centre.

A ranger-led evening walk along The Cabrach Discovery Trail after dark, using UV and head torches to spot glowing lichens, insects and nocturnal wildlife. With some of Scotland's darkest skies, clear nights may reveal constellations, the Milky Way and planets. Afterwards the group returns to The Acorn Centre for a bowl of traditional Stovies and a chat about the discoveries.
