Raku Club - Communal Firing, Session 2

A full-day communal raku firing session where participants glaze and fire their own bisque-fired ceramics outdoors, led by ceramicist Peter Jones.

A communal raku firing day run by Colchester Makerspace at Cuckoo Farm Studios, led by ceramic artist Peter Jones with technician Ed Dan. Attendees bring their own bisque-fired pieces made from raku or grogged clay; glazes, materials and firing are provided. Because raku firing is rapid and only a few pieces are fired at a time, the session runs across the whole day, with vegan soup, sourdough bread and drinks included. Participants must be 18+, work outdoors, and a minimum of five bookings is needed for the session to go ahead.
