Eleanor's Feminist Fiction Reading Group

A monthly feminist fiction reading group at Topping & Company Booksellers in York discussing works by female authors, this session featuring Giada Scodellaro's Ruins, Child.

Eleanor's Feminist Fiction Reading Group meets monthly to discuss works by female authors, from forgotten classics to contemporary literary fiction, chosen from a feminist perspective. This session features Giada Scodellaro's debut novel Ruins, Child, a kaleidoscopic narrative about six women sharing a crumbling apartment tower in a possible future. No preparation or contribution is required; attendees are welcome to share passages or characters they enjoyed. Entry costs £5, fully redeemable as a voucher towards a copy of the book.
