Writer and former British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Alexandra Shulman appears at Topping & Company Booksellers in York to talk about Black Coffee and Red Lipstick, a collection of essays blending reflections on domestic daily life with thoughts on style and self-presentation. The book draws on her 25 years editing Vogue and her life since as a freelance writer, covering topics from the perfect eyeliner and picnics to friendship, siblings and grey hair. Doors open at 6.30pm for the 7pm start.
