How to Engage with the Press and Get Good PR
About
A hands-on workshop by South of Scotland Enterprise teaching early-stage business owners how to secure media coverage and use PR effectively.
South of Scotland Enterprise hosts a two-hour, in-person workshop aimed at pre-start and early-stage business owners, particularly those working alone or in their first few years. The relaxed, interactive session covers what makes a good story, identifying local and sector media contacts, how journalists work, writing effective press releases, choosing strong accompanying photos, and pitching to the media. Attendees also learn interview preparation, the bridging technique, and how to maximise coverage across their marketing channels.
