About
A three-hour beginner pottery taster class at re-imagine in Southbourne, learning slab building and wheel throwing with Sarah of Leaps and Bounds Pottery Classes.
This in-person taster class is aimed at beginners aged 14 and over who want to try working with clay. Over three hours, Sarah of Leaps and Bounds Pottery Classes teaches two pottery skills: slab building a small vase or pot and throwing a pot on the potter's wheel. Participants then decorate their pieces with coloured underglazes; Sarah fires the work afterwards, with finished pieces ready to collect 6-8 weeks later. The class is limited to four places to allow personal tuition.
